Decision to Retire

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

October 3, 2023

Hello, friends.

It is with mixed feelings that I make the following announcement:

I will not run for re-election in the March City Council election.

After a long career, I have decided it is time to retire and give someone else a chance to serve the City in this capacity. I plan to devote more time to my wife and family, and I have a few other things that will keep me busy. I will also stay involved in city issues.

I will post a lengthier statement in the coming days, but for now, thank you for your encouragement and support over the years.  And let me make it clear:  I don't plan to slow down in my remaining time on the City Council. As they say in the track world, you have to run through the tape!

More than ever, I remain committed to you, the people of San Dimas.

After all, It's YOUR Town!
